The estimated base salary range for this role is $66,560 to $80,000 per year.

The Project Design Estimator role requires an individual that is ambitious and self-motivated with an eye for design. In this role, you will be responsible for client communications, design consultation and formulation, and creating detailed shop drawings.

What you'll be doing:

  • Become an expert on Arktura products in order to provide technical support for specification inquiries
  • Communicate with sales admin and management team for product sales coordination
  • Work with the network of sales reps in local territories
  • Communicate with Arktura reps, contractors and sales team as needed
  • Utilize sales and quoting information database to quote projects based on review/verification of architectural specifications, provided quantities, and/or written documentation.
  • Utilize CAD and related 3D modeling software for estimates diagrams
  • Review Shop Drawings for project specific issues and/or post-signed quote changes of scope

 

What will make you successful:

  • B. Arch or BS/M. Arch Degree, Interior Design or Construction Management
  • 3+ years’ experience creating detailed development of design and construction documents including architectural detailing, read specifications and complete necessary takeoffs for quoting
  • Possess knowledge of architectural products and systems, or ability to learn them quickly
  • Excellent understanding of industry software applications including CAD, graphic-based packages
  • Thorough understanding of 3D modeling software usage and application
  • Effective project management skills
  • Great communication & client management skills
  • Proven abilities to think critically and analytically
  • Highly detailed and precise in all facets of work
  • Energetic with a demonstrated set of skills that support multi-tasking functions
  • Ability to work independently AND with a team to see various projects through from concept to end-installation
  • Construction scheduling and management familiarity
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with complex geometry
  • Experience with Salesforce, ERP system, REVU Bluebeam and AutoCAD
