Location: Work from home position located in Jacksonville , Florida 

 

As our Full Line Sales Manager, you will cover the Jacksonville, Florida market as part of the North Central Florida team interacting with architects, distributors, contractors, owners, and facility managers to influence the specification and purchase of AWI commercial ceilings and wall systems. You will also be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales budget regarding price, volume, and mix, as well as interacting and partnering with other AWI sales representatives to drive improved business results.

What you'll be doing:

  • Drive sales of Armstrong products through established distribution and contractor channels
  • Build strong relationships with architects, owners, facility managers, contractors, and distributors
  • Influence the specification and purchase of AWI commercial ceilings, grid, and wall systems
  • Assist architects and designers in writing specifications for AWI products with an emphasis on gaining competitive advantage
  • Specify, track, and close jobs within the assigned territory by creating value and providing each AWI customer with a competitive advantage
  • Achieve territory goals in sales volume, mix, new products, and pricing
  • Grow business through increasing and maintaining market share
  • Improve continuously by focusing on overall sales effectiveness, a key metric in AWI’s formal sales career progression process

 

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of commercial building product sales experience
  • SFDC, Microsoft Office, ability to understand Blueprints, Adobe, Blue Beam, Showpad
  • Demonstrated success in architectural selling
  • Prior experience in construction, contracting, distribution, and specification sales
  • Knowledge of market segments, customers, and distribution channels
  • Proficiency with various computer software including Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications
  • Demonstrated ability with effectively managing multiple relationships and priorities
  • Proven ability with short- and long-term planning

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience with interior finishing product sales
