As our Identity & Access Management Architect, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of expertise for the development, specification, and communication of the enterprise technology architecture plan, the infrastructure components required to support it, and in the integration of corporate and business area architectures. In addition, you will lead multiple projects and develop innovative and effective solutions for the most diverse and most complex business problems.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading requirements gathering, design, implementation, and enhancement of global infrastructure
  • Architecting technical solutions and infrastructure and introducing new technologies
  • Defining life-cycle management for infrastructure technologies
  • Acting as principal designer for all major enterprise architecture solutions
  • Leading and directing Level 2 teams to ensure operational excellence of infrastructure services
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining best-practice standards, policies, procedures, and associated training plans
  • Providing integrated systems planning and recommending new or different technologies
  • Establishing and maintaining lines of communication with stakeholders and vendors
  • Identifying opportunities to improve global standardization and organizational efficiencies
  • Serving as a point of escalation for issues requiring a higher degree of expertise
  • Assisting with developing IT budgets (expense and capital) and estimates
  • Helping with recruitment and selection of project resources
  • Collaborate with management to identify and prioritize projects in the portfolio
  • Researching and evaluating new and alternative solutions and technologies
  • Supporting creation and maintenance of multi-year functional roadmaps
  • Contributing to development of overall strategy, tactics, planning, and execution of initiatives
  • Documenting technical architecture design and analysis work
  • Developing, maintaining, and documenting disaster recovery plans
  • Maintaining technical documentation and process topology
  • Identifying, cultivating, and driving initiatives for automating business processes
  • Leading strategic and operational direction of AWI's identity and access management practice
  • Ensuring daily operation and long-term health of identity and access management ecosystem
  • Planning, configuring, and implementing a plan to mitigate loss of Active Directory services
  • Developing and driving roadmap for identity management practice
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities for cost optimization

 

What will make you successful:

  • Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and computer networks including software defined networking, process control networks, application centric infrastructure
  • Expertise in Azure Active Directory design, implementation, administration, and upgrades.
  • Expertise in MIM implementation, administration, and upgrades
  • Drive toward modern device management transformation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, and experience in macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems
  • Ability to design, develop, and deploy PowerShell scripts
  • Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure hosting environments and data center technology including hyper converged infrastructure, SCOM
  • Experience with acting as a technology evangelist and advocating for change in the enterprise
  • Passion for and understanding of leveraging emerging technology progression (i.e. cloud adoption and mobile computing)
  • Working knowledge of technologies commonly utilized in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to translate technical details in business language
  • Broad working knowledge of infrastructure support principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate strategy, vision, and direction and embrace change

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in end user computing solutions architecture.
  • Technical expertise with Windows 10, SCCM, application readiness, Office 365 and end user computing technologies to enable a successful Microsoft workplace deployment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services.
  • Experience implementing single-sign-on capabilities for on-prem and cloud applications

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical grasp of technology architecture in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification in either a process discipline (ITIL, PMI, Six Sigma) or technical discipline (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, etc.)
  • Experience with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure Active Directory
