As our Director, Investor Relations, you will be responsible for defining and executing the investor relations strategy. Additionally, you will also be responsible for analyzing company performance, competitive environment, and market models, all of which support the department’s responsibility to develop and implement a global investor communication plan.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the formulation of investor communication strategy including content for investor presentations, analyst meetings and quarterly earnings announcements
  • Writes earnings call scripts 
  • Plans and implement semi-regular investor day events
  • Responsible for daily interaction with Wall Street including communicating corporate strategy and performance to security analysts and portfolio managers as well as preparation of executive presentations and speeches for analyst conferences
  • Develop detailed knowledge of valuation drivers for the company, the sector, and competitors
  • Monitor disclosures of competitors to determine if our disclosures are providing enough information to ensure fair relative valuations 
  • Prepare quarterly model to give guidance to the market
  • Comply and analyze buy and sell-side analyst financial models on the company as well as competitors each quarter 
  • Generate “consensus” model for internal analysis 
  • Provide internal research support for the development of executive presentations
  • Liaison for IR to marketing functions to analyze market share information including the identification of key achievements in markets and strengths/weaknesses of competitors
  • Provide investor and analyst feedback to senior management
  • Manage external vendors


What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10-15 years IR and/or financial and accounting background
  • Meaningful leadership presence with ability to interact at executive level
  • Excellent judgmental skills regarding people and information
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent ability to build relationships
  • Highly motivated and creative individual who thinks strategically
  • Outstanding analytical skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Knowledge of the building product industry
  • CPA
