As our Financial Analyst, you will provide key financial support for the Mineral Fiber segment, supporting the Director Finance, MF and taking a leadership role by supporting go-to-market and sales functions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support of monthly financial reporting, quarterly business reviews, estimates, strategic planning, budgeting, financial forecasting and performance monitoring of the MF business
  • Work closely with regional sales GMs to develop a tracking/reporting process that establish leading indicators of sales performance and provide value-added analysis for the sales teams to ensure delivery of revenue growth
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics of sales reporting to impact goals and objectives that improve sales productivity in the field
  • Identify and develop productivity projects to streamline reporting and analysis processes
  • Track results of key strategic sales initiatives and regional sales performance
  • Initiate and lead financial analysis needs of the Director Finance, Mineral Fiber for other channels (US Commercial, Retail, Latin America or entire Mineral Fiber segment)
  • Support the development of modeling, tracking and dashboard tools to support delivering the entire Mineral Fiber category results (sales pulse process, selling/marketing cost center analysis, etc.)
  • Assist with the preparation of and personally analyzes a wide variety of special studies on pricing, promotion, new projects, margin, portfolio trade-up, capital expenditures, etc. 
  • Support sales incentive and rebate processes, including tracking accruals, reconciling accounts and facilitating payments, as required or in support of the controller’s group
  • Support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls  
  • Support both internal and external audits
  • Coordinates ad hoc activities and completes special projects as assigned by the Director Finance, MF, or Vice President, Finance – Americas
  • As requested, support other channels (eCommerce, Latin America, Canada, etc.)
  • Overseeing of special projects as required


What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • 5+ years of financial experience
  • Excellent experience with data, systems and FP&A support
  • Meaningful analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills including the ability to interact comfortably and respectfully with all levels of plant and corporate personnel
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Thorough leadership presence with ability to interact at executive level
  • Passion for delivering results, agility and both internal and external customer focus
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo and regularly think of ways to do things differently, more efficiently and with greater productivity


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA and/or CPA
  • Knowledge of the building products industry
