As Manager, Campus Experience, you will report directly to our Senior Vice President, Human Resources and will be responsible for managing a secure, safe, and functional working environment for more than 1,200 people on a 225-acre, one million square foot Corporate Campus, with a focus on optimizing space utilization and enhancing user comfort and productivity. You will manage hospitality for more than 1,000 monthly visitors to the AWI customer showroom. You will also collaborate with the Facilities Capital and Engineering Manager on management of the expense and capital budgeting process for the campus. In addition, you will be tasked with creating specifications for Corporate Campus contracts with suppliers and for creating and reviewing detailed proposals with Procurement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work to understand employee and customer needs and requirements and on designing solutions to meet the needs
  • Engage with customers, employees, potential partners, potential employees
  • Design and execute process improvements
  • Manage annual expense budget totaling $11-12M
  • Collaborate with Capital & Engineering Manager to deliver on Capital Budget typically totaling $1.5 – 2M
  • Handle contracts for the Campus including – main agreement is with CBRE.
  • Create specifications to solicit detailed proposals and select vendors for Campus projects
  • Review contract proposals, select bidders, and initiate contracts directly with Procurement
  • Manage Campus Emergency Preparedness protocols including evacuation drills
  • Coordinate Campus response to weather emergencies with Executive Team
  • Maintain safe facility by coaching staff, employees, and visitors on safety processes,
  • Measure and optimize space utilization in coordination with executive staffs
  • Enhance user comfort and productivity considering furniture, fixtures, and finishes
  • Manage Avenue product displays in collaboration with AWI Marketing teams
  • Oversee hospitality process working closely with the Executive Team
  • Manage, train, and develop direct reports including the Avenue Customer Events Specialist and indirect reports for the Receptionist team
  • Ensure all Campus safety procedures are followed by contractors
  • Direct CBRE staff efforts as needed throughout the Campus
  • Manage campus landscaping and snow removal activities with CBRE Operations Manager
  • Direct work of contract suppliers

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related, progressive experience
  • Demonstrated leadership within previous roles

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within Customer Service, Hospitality, Marketing, Procurement, Operations, or Facilities Management
