Location: This is a remote based role to be located in the Mid-Atlantic states

 

As our new Senior Marketing Communications Specialists, you will be responsible for driving the marketing and digital communications for our Healthy space portfolio of products and solutions. This includes developing and implementing integrated marketing communications plans that support the segment growth marketing strategy to create a value proposition unmatched in the industry.

 

You will also develop and implement an actionable communications plan that leads to a market leadership position for Armstrong in all markets throughout North America. Elements of this plan will recognize strategic elements developed by the Healthy Spaces Market Segment Leader, including the market and competitive trends, relevant value propositions based on where the market is evolving, and multi-year marketing strategies and programs to deliver sustained year-over-year growth. In addition, you will be responsible for creating cross marketing collaboration with key communications partners across Armstrong and with external partners.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with the Healthy Spaces Market Segment team to develop sound, articulate communication plans which support the segment strategy, from ideas through content, copy and graphics, for a broad range of print and web/e-tactics
  • Creating marketing and digital communications campaigns that gain engagement from the market as well as traction with the sales channels to deliver portfolio sales goals
  • Build and execute effective and compelling integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads
  • Manage communications budgets against annual targets, provide monthly updates
  • Generate key metrics of marketing communications tactics to support analysis of the marketing activities.
  • Act as Armstrong’s expert in communicating to newer audiences for the Healthy Spaces segment, such as engineers, facility managers, building owners, and property managers
  • Execute clear marketing plans to generate awareness and sales leads from these audiences
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, communications specialists, digital communications, and other marcomm managers to develop and implement product and program launches
  • Work closely with creative design and production to orchestrate activities and timelines
  • Integrate with PR, social media, trade show, and advertising resources to support placement and integrate other marketing communications tactics for Armstrong solutions
  • Plan and execute specific tactics related to new Healthy Spaces audiences
  • Utilize process improvement tools to achieve results simpler, faster and better

 

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree from in marketing, communications, or a related
  • 5+ years of marketing communications experience
  • Demonstrated B2B marketing communications experience and customer insights related to commercialization in the Building Products industry
  • Experience developing marketing messages for technical, performance-based solutions
  • Familiarity with e-platforms and web-based technologies
  • Experience with implementing communications tactics across print and web
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships at various levels within an organization
  • Ability to analyze and interpret effectiveness of communications tactics with data
  • Proficient in a variety of digital marketing technologies and tools
  • Proven creative abilities/approaches to marketing approaches and messaging
  • Proficient with developing ideas and overseeing graphic design
  • Previous project management experience
  • Ability to understand CAD files, Revit, and web standard files
  • Experience with content and data management systems (Rhythmyx and eProd)
  • Fluent in MS Word, MS PPT, MS Internet Explorer, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Rhythmix/Omniture

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of sustainability standards
