MRK Libertyville Plant is looking for machine operators for 1st and 2nd shifts. We are looking for quality candidates with a "can do" attitude, team orientation and commitment to producing high quality products. First shift hours are 6:00AM to 2:30PM and second shift is 2:30PM to 11:00 PM. 


Key responsibility - Operate, set up, maintain, and verify product quality on a CNC, Press Brake, and/or Punch Press according to manufacturing procedures and scheduling requirements. Responsible for change overs of hard tooling and electronic set up knowledge, preventative maintenance practices on equipment and assisting with assembly and packaging of completed products.


  • Set-up and operate Amada Press Brakes/Roll forming machines (HFE-M2, RG100, RG50, Cincinatti, Waldemar Baileigh)
  • Select, load and install correct tooling; Maintain tool Inventory; Keep tools clean and orderly
  • Perform 1st level quality inspections based on Customer drawings or shop prints.
  • Work from manufacturing drawings, sketches and blueprints, read/understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions/tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements.
  • Daily housekeeping in your area of responsibility and participation on all safety initiatives.
  • Follow all Company and OSHA Safety Policies. Observe all safety precautions and plant regulations to prevent injury to self and others or damage to material or equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


The ideal candidate will exhibit:

  • 1+ year machine operator experience. Experience with Amada press brakes a plus!
  • Previous Metal fabrication background a plus
  • Knowledge of dimensional measuring and shop math competence
  • Ability to read and understand Blueprints
  • Effective communication skills to discuss and understand work procedures, training, general directions and other issues
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
  • Manage time effectively as to accomplish all tasks within an appropriate timeframe
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge in Programming software such as Dr. Abe and AP100
  • Knowledge on Calculation of Bend allowance and bend deductions
