Shipper Receiver $18-20/hr

Primary Duty:

This position is responsible for the receiving supplies, shipping finished products and supplies, organizing raw materials in their required positions.

General Duties:

  • Follow all Company and OSHA Safety Policies.
  • Process shipment paperwork. (Manifests, Bills of Ladings)
  • Direct drivers; direct loading crews to complete loads
  • Communicate with suppliers and plant coordinator to schedule loads
  • Process inbound and outbound orders
  • Plan loading and inbound receipt schedules
  • Plan schedule for outbound shipments to maximize productivity
  • Inventory Accuracy (Shipping supplies and job products)
  • Arrange raw material in various storage areas
  • And all other tasks as required by the operations manager

 

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years Shipping and Receiving experience
  • Valid Forklift license and previous experience driving a forklift
  • Ability to work safely
  • Strong work ethic, team player, strong attention to detail

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  1. Plant Environment – This position operates in a manufacturing setting and can be subject to extreme cold and hot temperatures; uneven walking surfaces with cords, tools and other obstacles; intermittent loud noises; and dusty or dirty conditions.  Required PPE includes: (when required), safety glasses, earplugs, steel toe/composite boots, and fall protection.
