  • Stimuler les spécifications et les ventes de systèmes de plafond en analysant les besoins et problèmes des clients, et en y répondant.
  • Identifier les opportunités, les problèmes, les besoins et les solutions en entretenant des relations avec les clients
  • Collaborer avec les entrepreneurs pour comprendre leurs problèmes, et les encadrer et les former sur les systèmes et capacités d'Armstrong
  • Enquêter sur les réclamations et les plaintes, et recommander des solutions
  • Dirigez les conversations sur les plafonds standard et spéciaux, ainsi que sur les éléments de suspension

 

Ce dont vous avez besoin :

  • Baccalauréat ou expertise équivalente dans l'industrie
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience en gestion de projet, estimation et construction commerciale
  • Maîtrise de la langue française / anglaise
  • Accréditation syndicale
  • Achèvement de la formation: Santé et sécurité générale sur les chantiers de construction
  • Compétences techniques démontrées, y compris la menuiserie et l'installation pratique
  • Capacité éprouvée de lire et d'analyser des plans
  • Capacité à établir des relations positives avec une variété de clients
  • Maîtrise des applications Microsoft Windows

Armstrong World Industries (AWI) is seeking an Installation Systems Sales Manager to join our Sales team and cover the Canada region. As our Installation Systems Sales Manager, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining business for Armstrong ceilings, suspension systems, and grid systems, with architects, contractors, owners and distributors.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions and installation assistance to contractors installing Armstrong ceiling and wall systems, as well as analyzing, developing, and recommending appropriate solutions to installation issues.

 

Note: Relocation assistance to Canada is available for this position. Up to 50% travel will be required.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as a product expert within our sales team and for all of Armstrong clients and customers
  • Drive specification and sales of ceiling systems by analyzing and meeting customer needs and problems
  • Identify opportunities, problems, needs, and solutions through nurturing relationships with customers
  • Collaborate with contractors to understand their issues, and to coach and train them on Armstrong systems and capabilities
  • Investigate claims and complaints, as well as recommend solutions
  • Drive conversations on standard and specialty ceilings, as well as suspension items

 

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, estimating, and commercial construction
  • Speaking fluency in French/English
  • Union accreditation
  • Completion of training: General health and safety on construction sites
  • Demonstrated technical skills, including carpentry and hands-on installation
  • Proven ability to read and analyze blueprints
  • Ability to build positive relationships with a variety of customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications

 

Preferred experience includes:

  • Prior experience in ceiling installation and building products
  • Field measurement experience
