Reporting to the Senior Manager, Special Finance Projects, the Plant Controller/Finance Manager is responsible for all finance and accounting aspects for Arktura. This role will partner with the business management team to drive revenue growth, manufacturing performance, and return on investments to meet financial objectives.  You will have direct responsibility for the finance planning and analysis function in an innovative manufacturing business, requiring an in-the-trenches leadership style as processes are built-out to support analytics and KPI reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Financial Strategy & Analysis: Lead finance planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making to support revenue growth and investment returns.
  • Monthly Performance & Budgeting: Oversee month-end close processes, develop budgets, forecast revenues, and analyze performance against benchmarks.
  • Cost Management: Build product cost models for custom project quotes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Leadership & Compliance: Ensure internal controls align with company policies, and manage finance team members, including accountants and specialists.
  • Project Management: Lead special projects, including software implementations and capital investment analysis.

  • Committed to delivering precise, high-quality results with consistency, professionalism, and a keen eye for detail.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 7+ years of manufacturing accounting experience
  • 7+ years with ERP systems like Infor SyteLine, SAP, BW, Hyperion, or Epicor
  • Prior supervisory or management experience required.

  • 3+ years of experience as a plant controller in a manufacturing environment
