The estimated base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $100,000 per year.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounting Analyst will be responsible for a variety of cost accounting and financial integration assignments. The incumbent will lead the month-end close process, and be responsible for fixed assets, sales and use tax, reconciliations and reporting, and process improvement associated with company financial performance and internal controls to meet manufacturing operations and financial objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Leads month-end close process and ensures reporting deadlines are met.
  • Manages inventory adjustments, reconciliations, monthly analytics and the annual full physical.
  • Owns all aspects of fixed asset management. This includes asset additions, retirement, transfers, and CIP. Maintains asset register, depreciation and amortization schedules and books applicable journal entries.
  • Oversees major plant projects ensuring appropriate policies associated with capital and expense are adhered to and follow U.S. GAAP and company policies.
  • Assists with development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Completes accounting integration tasks as required to ensure company policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
  • Participates in annual internal audit process.
  • Completes bank reconciliations.
  • Manages credit card spend, books transactions and ensures compliance with published document retention policies.
  • Processes sales and use tax returns through Avalara and records tax payments in ERP.
  • Prepares standardized plant reports on production and key performance indicators.
  • Backs up AP/AR functions.
  • Manages both domestic and international inbound freight expense.
  • Prepares and reviews balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Mentors and assists in developing junior staff.
  • Generates ad hoc reporting.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills with a strong Excel skillset.

 

Qualifications

  • BS / BA in Finance or Accounting
  • 4+ years of experience in an accounting/finance role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using NetSuite.
  • Experience with Avalara and OneStream a plus
