Job Output
Reporting to the Samples Supervisor, the Samples Coordinator supports the Samples Department by creating and executing the samples requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Executes the Samples schedule.
- Communicates professionally with department personnel.
- Coordinates and closes out Samples shipments.
- Works with the Engineering Department on custom samples.
- Maintains the samples inventory.
- Maintains Sample assembly methods.
- Demonstrates familiarity with product and assembly of product.
- Reviews and ensures quality of Samples.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Travel: Minimal; less than 5%

- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing process a plus.

- Clear, concise communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.

Work Environment

- Office Environment – This position operates in a professional office environment and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. No PPE is required.
- Plant Environment – This position operates in a manufacturing setting and can be subject to extreme cold and hot temperatures; uneven walking surfaces with cords, tools, and other obstacles; intermittent loud noises; and dusty or dirty conditions. Required PPE includes hard hat (when required), safety glasses, earplugs, steel toe/composite boots, and fall protection.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Manufacturing and/or assembly experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience and confidence operating Zund cutting machine preferred.
