Reporting to the Production Manager, the Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for handling the maintenance of all production equipment at the Lamit facility. Key responsibilities include overseeing the storeroom, work orders, planning and organizing tasks, and executing preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime. The role involves close collaboration with capital engineers and contractors to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. As the sole maintenance provider for the plant, the Maintenance Coordinator is expected to work overtime when unexpected downtime occurs to promptly address and correct errors.

What will you do?
- Assembles, installs, dismantles, repairs, and reassembles mechanical equipment, as necessary.
- Diagnoses and corrects mechanical malfunctions to maintain equipment in a state of operating effectiveness and to meet production requirements.
- Works on mechanical equipment such as powered conveyors, CNC’s, industrial sanders, gang saw, dust collectors, pump systems, etc.
- Executes predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance as scheduled.
- Uses a variety of hand and portable power tools, along with shop equipment such as drill press, hack saw, grinder, lathe, and welder.
- Requisitions and procures required materials for the storeroom.
- Works from prints, sketches and other written or verbal instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED required
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance coordination or a related field in a manufacturing environment required.

- Proficiency in diagnosing and fixing electrical issues, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels.
- Skills in developing and executing preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used to monitor equipment performance and identify issues.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment.
- Capable of independently managing tasks with minimal oversight.
- Ability to perform precision tasks including alignments using lasers, dial indicators, etc.

- Robotics or CNC maintenance and programing experience
- Journeyman Industrial Mechanic or Millwright

- Office Environment – This position operates in a professional office environment and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. No PPE is required.
- Plant Environment – This position operates in a manufacturing setting and can be subject to extreme cold and hot temperatures; uneven walking surfaces with cords, tools, and other obstacles; intermittent loud noises; and dusty or dirty conditions. Required PPE includes hard hat (when required), safety glasses, earplugs, steel toe/composite boots, and fall protection.
