Reporting to the Logistics Manager, with additional guidance from the Plant Controller, the Logistic Planner will be responsible for production and invoice resolution, supporting new item systems and providing reporting on operations & financial performance. The Logistics and Accounting Planner will support business objectives while adhering to statutory regulations, company policies and appropriate use of financial systems.

What you’ll do
- Own the daily production reconciliation process, working with production and staff teams to resolve issues and discrepancies
- Process adjustments in MX, SAP, and Scale to maintain accurate inventory and production reporting
- Collaborate with other plant functions ensure that plant standard work is established and strives to ensure accuracy of production and inventory information
- Process invoices and exceptions in VIM Workflow invoice processing
- Process and resolve procurement issues, including invoice discrepancies, blocked invoices, GR-IR issues, and open order reports
- Partner with other Logistics team members to timely and accurately set up new specials and standard items in SAP and MX
- Assist with labor reporting and payroll troubleshooting
- Assist plant controller with time sensitive month-end closing processes, including reporting, controls, and other tasks as assigned
- Compare master data with quoted data of various systems
- Support plant capital, NPD, and improvement projects
- Recommends, develops, and implements changes to continually improve processes, support standardization, and the effectiveness of the Hilliard plant
- Documents policies, procedures, workflow, and checklists for assigned responsibilities

- Ability to exercise independent judgment to ascertain the reasonableness and accuracy of information.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite - particularly MS Excel.
- Proficiency in SAP
- Ability to work cross functionally with other groups within the company.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities; must be a self-starter and take the initiative in completing projects and assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to share knowledge at appropriate levels of the organization.
- Customer focused with strong attention to detail and capable of delivering accurate, quality results in a timely, consistent, and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact comfortably and respectfully with all levels of personnel.
- BS/ BA in accounting or relevant field OR 3-5 years’ experience in lieu of a degree

About the Location (Hilliard OH)
Our Hilliard Plant, one of twelve Armstrong plants in North America, employs 100+ people across multiple shifts who are involved in the manufacturing and shipping of acoustical ceiling tile.
