The estimated base salary range for this role is “$49,990 to $94,750” per year.  
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Ceilings and Walls FP&A, the Accounting Analyst will be a member of the FP&A Team and will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting and analysis of monthly results, quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and strategic plan processes.  Responsibilities also include general and manufacturing accounting. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Produces (daily/weekly/monthly) internal financial business analyses to evaluate performance, aids in decision making, and provides insights into the business.
  • Assists the Senior Manager, Ceilings and Walls FP&A in the development and implementation of the annual budget, quarterly estimates and strategic plans as assigned, capturing details required for financial analysis and reporting for both the P&L and Balance Sheet activities.
  • Produces key FP&A deliverables for operating budget, monthly forecasting, quarterly estimates, cost control, and P&L reviews.
  • Concisely summarizes operating results through variance analysis.
  • Assists in developing finance & business presentations for senior management.
  • Drives process improvements aimed at creating scalability and efficiencies across FP&A through standardization.
  • Communicates effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization to understand deliverables, conveys insights from data, and resolves issues.
  • Partners with IT to drive effective utilization of reporting functionality within SAP S4 HANA platform across the finance organization.
  • Ensures accuracy in results and adherence to all schedules & deadlines.
  • Documents policies, procedures, workflow, and checklists for assigned responsibilities.
  • Confirms and abides by all regulatory guidance and internal policies and procedures.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience in Accounting and Finance
  • Preferably 1-3 years business experience. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – particularly MS Excel & PowerPoint.
  • SAP/ BW experience preferred.
  • OneStream experience preferred.
