As our Associate/Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute plans to create sales demand for Archtectural Specialties (AS) products, supporting aggressive business growth. As part of the marketing team, you will be responsbible for the commercialization of new products and capabilities, the integration of acquired businesses, developing sales tools and training, and the care and maintenance of existing product lines.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with marketing manager and product development team through the final stages of the new product development process, launch and post-launch review new products.  Develop marketing and sales materials and tactics for successful introductions of new products in order to meet the expectations established in business cases.
  • Develop creative briefs and collaborates with marketing communications team to execute against those briefs.  Project Manager the marketing communications efforts to achieve on-time, in-budget objectives.
  • With knowledge of market trends, needs and competitive products, creates targeted messaging for internal and external customers and segments.
  • Primary contact with field sales to provide new product sales support.
  • Work with AS Business Leadership and AS Marketing Team to develop, maintaining and update yearly marketing plans
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Develop training materials for sales team, CFC, AS Operations, and Distributors to help them position and sell products effectively.
  • Provide directions to Marketing Communication teams on ongoing promotion and positioning of existing and new products.
  • Own 90-day Marketing Integration plans for mergers and acquisitions, including incorporating web, printed brochures, and other marketing assets.
  • Work with outside firms on Marketing Materials, print, digital, and video (and beyond) to execute promotional/educational assets.
  • Proactively working with Marketing Manager and the new product development team as a team member providing guidance on customer and cost requirements
  • Support technical planning and execution of ongoing product integration related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop Best Practice Standard Work to ensure product set up is complete to satisfactorily support standard and custom orders upon launch, as well as process improvement on commercialization activities
  • Analyzing the product line and competitive products to find opportunities to maximize ROI via new, dropped, or repositioned products

 What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or design/technical and 1+ years of experience in a marketing, design environment, or product development or 5+ years experience in lieu of a degree
  • General knowledge of all products within a product family, company policies and practices
  • Good knowledge of long-range and operational planning techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to operate as a matrix manager in coordinating people and technical resources from multiple areas of the company
  • Approximately 10% - 20% travel to suppliers, trade shows, customers with potential travel to manufacturing
