Armstrong World Industries is currently seeking a HR Project Coordinator to join Human Resources team at our headquarters in Lancaster, PA. As HR Project Coordinator, you will mainly be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support for existing human resources services.  In addition, you will be responsible for broadly splitting between providing day-to-day operational support for talent management and M&A processes and project-based work for human resources, including labor and employee relations.

 

You will also be tasked with assisting in the preparation of materials for merger and acquisition activities, including due diligence and integration.

 

Responsibilities of the HR Project Coordinator:

  • Plan and coordinate internal and external meetings, events and conferences
  • Prepare confidential and non-confidential correspondence, presentations materials, training aids, reports, and other communications for meetings and learning events
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding materials, schedule, presenters, and attendees
  • Contribute to management of Talent Development budget; manage purchasing requisitions and goods receipts; research budget detail on monthly basis
  • Contribute to development of tactics, planning, and execution of initiatives to support human resources projects
  • Create and administer surveys to measure learning and engagement activities
  • Support, research, analyze, develop, and document new and existing processes, procedures and solutions to meet business needs
  • Support vendor relationship management in concert with Talent Development Specialist, and Senior Manager Talent Development and Performance
  • Assist with organizing M&A integration activities an e-learning management
  • Support Labor and Employee Relations, including contract negotiations preparation and employee relations project coordination
  • Maintain departmental databases and other electronic and paper records
  • Work on special projects which encompass research and compilation of data
  • Maintain inventory of supplies using company credit card and system
  • Receive, process, and distribute all internal and external mail

 

Required Qualifications and Education of the HR Project Coordinator:

  • HS Diploma or GED and 2+ years of human resources related experience in a professional capacity or a Bachelor's Degree in HR related discipline in lieu of professional HR related work experience
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), and SAP

 

Preferred Qualifications of the HR Project Coordinator:

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources or a related field
