As our Marketing Communications Specialist, Core Products, you will mainly be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and objectives through the use of effective marketing communications tactics. Additionally, you will also manage projects related to product and program launches, communication plans, and other related marketing communication initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver yearly communications plans, from ideas through copy and graphics, for a broad range of print and web/e-tactics
  • Develop and implement product and program launches. 
  • Work with marketing managers, designers and production to orchestrate activities and timelines.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and objectives by delivering effective marketing communications tactics
  • Create new product and program concepts overseeing creative and commercialization tactics through implementation.
  • Create, monitor, and track budgets and report spend on quarterly basis.
  • Integrate with advertising resources to support placement and integrate other marketing communications tactics
  • Develop communications across electronic platforms
  • Assist with newsletters, direct mail, and advertising
  • Implement public relations programs, press releases, online events, and social media tactics,
  • Plan and execute trade show support, including preparation of materials for rep use on a local basis.
  • Participate in market research and design of new specification and selection tools.
  • Coordinate various marketing fulfillment duties
  • Actively use process improvement tools to achieve results simpler, faster and better without negative impact on our customers or team.

 

What will make you successful:

  • 5+ years of Communications experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or similar
  • Experience with e-platforms and web-based technologies
  • Experience implementing communications tactics across print and web

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Commercial Building Products experience
  • B2B experience
  • Proven ability to develop ideas, oversee graphic design, and implement to support promotion/program or launch initiative in both print and web environments
  • Creative abilities/approaches to messaging
  • Experience in project management
  • Ability to understand CAD files, Revit and web standard files
  • Experience with content and data management systems (Rhythmyx and eProd)
  • Fluent in MS Word, MS PPT, MS Internet Explorer, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Rhythmix/Omniture
