The estimated base salary range for this role is $61,930 to $92,890 per year.  
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

As our Marketing Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and objectives by utilizing effective marketing communications tactics. Reporting to the Marketing Communication Manager, you will also be tasked with managing projects related to product and program launches, communication plans, and other marketing communication initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver communications plans, from ideas through copy and graphics, for a broad range of print and web/e-tactics including literature, sampling, merchandising, promotion, newsletters, publicity, case studies, emails, social media, and other communications vehicles, integrating messaging across all approaches.
  • Develop and implement product and program launches.  This includes working with product marketing managers to establish and execute communications approaches to achieve desired sales results. 
  • Work with product marketing managers, graphics designers and production to orchestrate activities and timelines. Inventory and expense management of specific programs and activities.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and objectives by delivering effective marketing communications tactics including: 
    • Create new product and program concepts overseeing creative and commercialization tactics through implementation.
    • Create, monitor and track budgets. Evaluate ROI and recommend lowest cost, most effective tactics.
    • Integrate with advertising resources to support placement and integrate other marketing communications tactics, including publicity, email, web, social media, print literature, video and other communications tactics.
    • Develop communications across electronic platforms (web, mobile, social, video, tablets, etc.)
    • Assist with newsletter, direct mail, advertising, catalog, and data page creation/editing, data checking and proofreading.
    • Implement public relations programs, press releases, online events, and social media tactics, coordinating with team members and PR agency.
    • Plan and execute trade show support, including preparation of materials for rep use on a local basis.  Assist with National/Virtual Trade Shows as requested.
    • Participate in market research and design of new specification and selection tools.
    • Coordinate various marketing fulfillment duties including fulfillment for advertising, back of book inquiries, online presence, and other sales literature.
    • Actively use process improvement tools to achieve result simpler, faster & better without negative impact on our customers or team.

  • Ability to understand CAD files, Revit and web standard files used by our customers
  • Experience with content and data management systems (Rhythmyx and eprod) a plus
  • Fluent in MS Word, MS PPT, MS Internet Explorer, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Rhythmix/Omniture training a plus
  • Prior Ceilings, Suspension Systems or Commercial Building Industry knowledge a plus

 

Qualifications                                              

  • Minimum of five years prior communications experience, including experience with e-platforms and web-based technologies, demonstrable ability/experience implementing communications tactics across print and web.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Communications from four-year College or university preferred.
  • Current ceiling systems experience preferred.
  • B2B experiences with our target customers a plus.
