Armstrong World Industries (AWI) is currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Integration Manager to join our Sales team in Lancaster, PA. The Sales & Marketing Integration Manager will mainly be responsible for managing the integration of marketing and manufacturing activities with the sales team for Armstrong Ceilings and Walls.        


Responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing Integration Manager:

  • Oversee internal marketing team that helps sales reps close work
  • Manage New Product Launch Process for Core, AS, and WAVE products
  • Administer new product launch process
  • Drive improvements to new product launch process to reduce cycle time, increase sales, or reduce costs
  • Provide marketing and commercialization requirements input in support of the New Product Development process
  • Own Core business made to order (specials) process
  • Work with sales, manufacturing, and technology organizations to say “Yes” to more projects
  • Increase sales on projects that would have been lost opportunities or price reduced
  • Drive results to meet yearly budget set by the business; drive additional capabilities using our plants and outside vendors
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with outside firms (Lighting, HVAC, Marketing Services, WAVE partners)
  • Manage integration of marketing and sales activities, including Distribution and Contractor Effectiveness programs
  • Provides sales team training for program and product launches
  • Leads marketing activities with Sales Leadership Team
  • Manage quality touches for field sales and SME’s within Marketing
  • Participate in key team meetings to help drive decision-making,
  • Jointly oversee participation and process for Plant Spring Quality Audits with customers
  • Manage administrative support for new product launch webinars, national sales meetings, distributor meetings/webinars, and plant QA meetings


Required Qualifications and Education of the Sales & Marketing Integration Manager:

  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Sales, or related
  • Experience with Sales management and with developing and nurturing strategic partnerships
  • Interior building product experience and knowledge of the Commercial Specification process, and construction process participants
  • In-depth knowledge of market conditions, particularly within targeted segments as well as knowledge of all ABP’s products
  • In-depth knowledge of long-range and operational planning techniques and business and financial drivers


Preferred Qualifications of the Sales & Marketing Integration Manager:

  • Master’s degree
