The estimated base salary range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000 per year.  
Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors

Reporting to the Project Coordinator Supervisor, this position is responsible for supporting the sales, customer service, and project management groups by providing custom samples and literature of current Architectural Specialties products requested by customers. The ideal candidate will provide accurate and timely customer support to internal and external stakeholders by creating sample requests, ensuring each sample meets quality standards, keeping the samples room organized, ordering needed materials, and maintaining inventory levels to fulfill customer requests on a timely basis.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Clarifying and understanding premium and custom sample requirements
  • Creating orders with plants and suppliers
  • Organizing and tracking samples
  • Processing shipment of samples to customers
  • Communicating status and issues to customers, premium order specialists, project coordinator,s and project manager
  • Communicating daily with both external and internal customers to create a positive customer experience and resolve any service issues
  • Facilitating communication between customers, CSMs, Account Managers, and other team members
  • Using knowledge of Architectural Specialties Products and supplier capabilities to ensure samples orders are fulfilled either as requested or that alternatives are presented
  • Receiving and accurately entering orders into the on-line customer order entry system (SAP) and processing them through shipment
  • Verifying the customer's job name and delivery information is accurate
  • Building collaborative working relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Compiling data and preparing monthly reports and metrics
  • Providing backup coverage and support to AS Premium Order Specialist as needed
  • Using key software including SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Salesforce, and Newforma Project Management

 

What will make you successful:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in operating a PC with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong math and data entry skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication/customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize your workload and perform multiple tasks.
  • Strong organization skills, effective listening, and problem-solving skills when responding to customer inquiries
  • Ability to learn, understand, and transfer knowledge relative to the entire AS product line
  • Ability to adjust the schedule to meet business needs

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP.
