The estimated base salary range for this role is “$115,000 to $130,000” per year.  
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Sustainability & Acquisition, the Talent Development Manager will be a key driver in shaping and executing the company’s talent development vision. This critical role will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of learning and development (L&D) initiatives, empowering employees at all levels—including managers, supervisors, and individual contributors—to thrive. By fostering professional growth, engagement, and retention, the Talent Development Manager will ensure AWI’s L&D programs align with the company’s commitment to building a dynamic and capable workforce.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning strategies and programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design and deliver engaging e-learning courses, workshops, and other training materials.
  • Assess individual and organizational development needs through surveys, interviews, etc.
  • Collaborate with HR Partners and department heads to identify training needs and support career development.
  • Manage budgets and relationships with external vendors and consultants.
  • Manage learning platforms, track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.

 

What Will Make You Successful:

  • Ability to lead and deploy learning programs with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to collaborate across organizational levels.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in LMS, and a solid grasp of adult learning principles.
  • Ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or HS diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience
  • 2+ years in L&D management with expertise in both online and face-to-face learning strategies.

 

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Certifications such as DDI, DiSC, CPLP, or SHRM-CP are a plus.
  • A passion for researching and applying new and emerging learning techniques and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to benchmark external processes and recommend enhancements to internal L&D infrastructure.
  • Comfortable working across various teams and handling ad-hoc projects with precision.
  • Skilled in creating systems to measure the impact and ROI of L&D programs.
