As our Technical Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for accounting areas such as leases, derivatives and pensions as well as assist with the preparation of our periodic SEC filings.

What you'll be doing:

  • Communicate US GAAP developments to Manager, External Reporting & Consolidations, Controller and other impacted personnel
  • Lead efforts to manage and administer lease accounting compliance
  • Serve as main accounting liaison with outside actuary for defined benefit pension, post-retirement plan and post-employment plans; records necessary accounting entries and develops associated budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist with the process for the Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-Q/K, including selected footnote preparation
  • Record interest rate derivative accounting entries and perform annual derivatives process review
  • Review key customer and vendor contracts to determine accounting impact
  • Publish technical accounting memos on topics such as asset impairment and reporting segments
  • Serve as a key contact for external auditor
  • Manage process to create and file financial statements for employee benefit plans
  • File annual SEC Form SD documenting the Company’s conflict minerals process


What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
  • CPA
  • 5+ years of financial reporting experience in accordance with US GAAP
  • Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations, combined with the ability to research complex accounting issues
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and manage well through tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with capability of interacting with all personnel levels
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of general ledger systems (SAP preferred)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public accounting experience
