The estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000 per year.  
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

Reporting to the Senior Manager Customer Solutions, the Web Business Analyst serves as a strategic partner to business and technical teams, driving the definition, analysis, and delivery of technology solutions that improve organizational performance. This role combines strong business acumen with deep technical understanding to translate complex needs into clear requirements, workflows, and actionable plans. The Web Business Analyst leads discovery efforts, manages requirements throughout the lifecycle, and ensures solutions align with business objectives and IT strategy.

What You’ll Do

Business & Systems Analysis

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for large, complex, or cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment with architecture and security standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing on website and application design (wireframes, mockups, or UI/UX requirements)
  • Conduct process mapping, impact analysis, and gap analysis between current-state systems and future-state needs.
  • Support product data maintenance including data loading activities (SQL) during product commercialization launches
  • Review database schemas, field-level mappings, and data dependencies
  • Take ownership of and execute technical tasks/responsibilities within the web platform landscape

 

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business relationship managers, delivery managers, project managers, and technical teams during planning, estimation, prioritization, and execution.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with business leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support change management by contributing to training, communication, and post-implementation activities.

 

Solution Delivery & Quality Assurance

  • Support solution design by working closely with architects, developers, and QA teams.
  • Review and validate test plans, test cases, and results to ensure requirements are met.
  • Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and issues; propose mitigation strategies.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure readiness for deployment.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend process, system, and workflow improvements that increase efficiency and customer value.
  • Help define and mature BA best practices, templates, standards, and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience as a Web Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, integrations, data flows, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with development methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc) and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently on complex projects and drive clarity in ambiguous environments.
  • Data analysis or SQL skills.
