The estimated base salary range for this role is $39,530 - $59,290 per year.  
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

This position is the primary front desk attendant who is detail-oriented and proactive, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Must be able think outside the box to get things done and have a creative problem-solving mind.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Creates and maintains Purchase Order (PO) log/enter timely and accurately; prints and distributes daily.
  • Receives and prints all incoming custom order POs; provides detailed job information to Estimating, Engineering and Project Manager as required.
  • Manages phone systems and serves as the primary phone attendant.
  • Reviews all work orders for accuracy prior to releasing to factory.
  • Communicates with Parent Company Customer Service as required to answer all questions and acquire permission to ship orders early.
  • Generates custom order invoices and submits to Parent Company along with tracking information via Ariba.
  • Verifies all shipped orders are removed from Work in Process Report.
  • Supports safety data entry and updates safety presentations.
  • Maintains EHS records, training material, and standard operating procedures within the EHS system.

Travel:  Minimal; less than 5%

  • Solid MS Office skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Works well in a small group environment.
  • Strong customer service acumen.
  • Effective time management skills as to accomplish all assigned tasks within an appropriate timeframe.
  • Knowledge of ERP or MRP system, QuickBooks and/or SAP.

  1. Office Environment – This position operates in a professional office environment and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. No PPE is required.

 

  1. Plant Environment – This position operates in a manufacturing setting and can be subject to extreme cold and hot temperatures; uneven walking surfaces with cords, tools, and other obstacles; intermittent loud noises; and dusty or dirty conditions.  Required PPE includes: Hard hat (when required), safety glasses, earplugs, steel toe/composite boots, and fall protection.

 

Education and/or Experience

 

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Order entry experience preferred.
