WAVE is currently hiring a National Sales and Maketing Manager to join our team!

 

Responsible for achievement of WAVE corporate goals for sales volume, mix, price performance and profit objectives for Commercial Suspension Systems through the Armstrong field sales organization including management. Major emphasis is placed on the results achieved in the area of developing integrated ceiling solutions strategies, sales promotions and working with the Armstrong team to meet new product sales expectations. This role will also spend time training the Armstrong sales teams and customers. This role sits in the Malvern, PA or greater Philadelphia area. 

 

KEY PROCESSES

 

  • Accountability for Core Grid Systems pricing guidelines and metro pricing levels with Armstrong field management
  • New Product Development and implementation of
  • Core grid and specialty grid products sales promotions
  • Coordination and initiation of comprehensive communications strategy and tactics for the Armstrong field sales organization and channel customers
  • Managing, developing and participation in the training programs for installation specialists, field reps and customers as requested by Armstrong
  • Management and follow-up of distributor and contractor incentive programs working with Armstrong field management
  • Analyze market conditions and competitive activity and implement strategy accordingly by keeping WAVE management informed
  • Travel with grid specialists and Armstrong field reps to train and coach on the issues involved in converting customers and selling more Core Grid Systems
  • Manage competitive analysis, update and keep WAVE and Armstrong management informed of key developments
  • Account responsibility for Integrated Ceiling Solution partnerships

  • Annual sales volume through Armstrong channel customers for Commercial and Retail Core Grid Systems

  • Customer satisfaction (both channel customers and Armstrong field sales organization)

 

VALUE-ADDED ACTIVITIES

  • As a member of the WAVE management staff, participate in both WAVE and Armstrong sales and marketing strategies and policies.
  • Determine and/or recommend Core Grid Systems sales and marketing strategy and tactics which enhance our offer to the market
  • Provide leadership, direction and participate in sales activities that relate to Core Grid Systems with channel customers and the Armstrong field sales organization as necessary or required by field management and/or grid specialists
  • Participate in sales meetings, advisory committee meetings and grid events
  • Continually analyze, review and recommend actions that relate to improved performance of Core Grid Systems sales, pricing, profitability and communications
  • Develop and implement programs and promotions that increase the sales volume and profitability of Core Grid Systems in the commercial market
  • Establish a process and implement improvements to our sales aids, literature and technical information

 

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

  • This position reports to the Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, WAVE.
  • This position will have two direct reports within the WAVE Sales & Marketing department. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelors degree is mandatory; preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, Architecture or Communications.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years marketing or ABP sales experience.
  • This position requires familiarity interal to AWI's sales and marketing strategies 
  • This position requires internal AWI experience selling integrated ceiling solutions and core grid products.
  • This position requires the incumbent to reside in the Malvern, PA or greater Philadelphia area. 
  • Strong presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Project management skills
  • Computer skills, specifically in MS office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree
  • USGBC AP or GA, CSI, AIA, ASID, IIDA certifications
  • Experience with social media, CAD, BIM, web, virtual events.
