Job Posting: CNC Set-Up/Operator
Location: Plasterform Plant, Mississauga, ON (Subsidiary of Armstrong World Industries)
Rate of Pay: $21-22/hour
Position Type: Full-Time, Day Shift

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled CNC Set-Up/Operator to join our team at the Plasterform Plant in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have experience with both 3 and 5 axis machines, particularly Thermwood equipment, and the ability to measure to tight tolerances. This role involves working in a dusty environment due to wood-based products and requires collaboration with the CAD Department and Team Leads.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (3 and 5 axis)
- Measure and ensure tight tolerances
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Collaborate with CAD Department and Team Leads
- Read and interpret drawings (asset)
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience with 3 and 5 axis CNC machines
- Experience with Thermwood equipment preferred
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Forklift license (asset)
Work Environment:
- Dusty due to wood-based products
