Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead daily production activities, including but not limited to:        

  • Employee guidiance
    1. Daily sequencing of product workflow to meet customers’ needs.
  • Support and mentor employees’ work & effectiveness
  • Quality best practice application.
  • Maintain awareness & supervision of safety issues.
  • Guiding and advising the team in interpretation of Plant and Company policies
  • Ensuring the integration of new employees 
  • Ensure back-up training for all positions principally for key positions

Leadership & Results management:

  • Focus on key performance results achievement
  • Elaborate targets in correlation with plant standards.
  • Determining manpower requirements to meet production schedules
  • Maintaining high level of customer awareness throughout the business units and focus on delivering material that meets requirements
  • Identify and implement strong team leaders, support groups & back-up plans
  • Ensure proper and effective communication both within the team as well as with other groups.

Improvements Strategies & Tactics management:

  • Use Lean principles to help guide the team to higher standards.
  • With his team and peers, determine root cause & improve on SQDC results.
  • Improves upon workplace organization & warehousing as per 5S Standards.
  • As a member of the plant staff, this person provides active leadership toward achieving the overall plant objectives of safety, business excellence, customer service, and commitment to our employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • manufacturing management leadership experience
  • Experience in Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental Management.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, presentation, data organization).in English 
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and other improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to meet established deadlines
  • Demonstrated track record in driving continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership, influence/interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Desired

  • Casting, cement, gypsum, and construction Working knowledge
  • Degree or diploma in a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 3-5+ years of supervision/management experience in a manufacturing environment
