Armstrong World Industries, Inc., has a job opportunity for a Sales Support Specialist Intern to be located at our headquarters in Lancaster, PA.  The internship is a full-time position for 8 - 12 weeks during the summer, and will be offering an hourly salary. Depending on business need and quality of candidate work, this position can also turn into a part-time job throughout the school year.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify leads
  • Systematically evaluates sales opportunities and targets those with the greatest potential for producing positive business results.

 

  • Job Follow-up on B and C Architects
  • Supports job follow-up by documenting all customer interaction and completed tasks documented in Salesforce.com (SFDC)

 

  • Document findings in Salesforce.com – Notes and Set Activities
  • Conveys messages logically, simply, succinctly, and at the right pace in Salesforce.com.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have completed at least 2 years of a 4-year program in a related field
  • Minimum of a 2.8 GPA, both within major and cumulative
  • Must be proactive, self-directed, and detail-oriented
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Must possess capacity to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Must be able to sit at desk for up to 8 hours a day and stand for up to 8 hours a day at events, carrying equipment up to 50 pounds
