The estimated base salary range for this role is $47,000 to $65,000 per year.  
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors (salary may be adjusted based on geographic location)

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the eCommerce Merchandising Assistant will work closely with our eCommerce Merchandising Specialist to help our customers have a seamless shopping experience as we grow our business. The incumbent will support day-to-day site performance, merchandising, and operations to provide a seamless and optimized customer journey. This role requires a combination of analytical, strategic, and creative thinking and provides a great opportunity to learn and evolve in the eCommerce space.

What you'll do

  • Handles the day-to-day operations of eCommerce sites, including product merchandising, inventory monitoring, testing, routine maintenance, and more.
  • Manages our rapidly expanding product catalog, ensuring accuracy, and consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Adds new product SKUs to the website, tests, and checks for accuracy.
  • Onboards new inventory locations and maintains/monitors inventory levels to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Serves as the liaison between the eCommerce and Operations Teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of the order fulfillment process.
  • Onboards new B2B products, price lists, and customers. Helps maintain and improve the overall B2B site experience.
  • Merchandises the website. Categorizes and sorts products via collections and filters to effectively merchandise products on the site.
  • Assists cross-functional teams with the management of third-party marketplace integrations, product bundles, upsells, promotions, exclusive offers, and special orders.
  • Leverages website and customer experience analytics to find opportunities for site optimization/ improvement, including improving search results, site navigation, and overall customer experience.
  • Collaborates with marketing and engineering team members to make sure that the eCommerce experience is supporting our strategic goals.
  • Help build scalable processes to support our eCommerce business as we grow.

  • Experience managing B2B or B2C product catalogs.
  • Detail oriented, analytical, proactive problem solver.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing “start-up” environment.
  • Quick learner and possesses the ability to adapt to a high-performance work environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with many different teams and individuals.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools.
  • Understanding of JSON format.

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, associate degree, or technical school preferred. High school or GED equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in an eCommerce merchandising role is preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel.
  • Experience with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms preferred.
